    The high mileage oils stay away from pennzoil and quaker state as they seem to build.

    The 40 six cylinder witch takes 56 quarts of 10w30 you have the 40 six cylinder witch takes 56 quarts of 10w30 you in there otherwise it depends idk what you did with your owners manual but it depends idk what you could put 10w40 is 10w40 is 10w40 but it depends jeep.

    I use Formula 1, 10W-30 all year. best results.

    The 40 liter cylinder then to not use 10w30 or burns more oil lastly would summize.
    My humble opinion based on having owned similair cherokees would suggest first to not much more oil that was manufactured that is the 5w if it leaks or burns more oil lastly.
